Call for Papers
In the
absence of profound changes in the world in a century, the COVID-19 pandemic
has accelerated the changes. The economy in the world is slipping back into recession in varying degrees with the change over the
world pattern and the reform of the global governance system. In this
background, it is particularly important for emerging
economies represented by BRICS countries to lead the world to build
high-quality partnerships and achieve global sustainable development.
High-quality partnerships play a vital role in global sustainable development,
which is the "golden key" to solve global problems. We should take
the opportunity of deepening " BRICS-plus " cooperation, take the cooperation of digital economy,
green development and poverty alleviation as the starting point to strengthen
strategic coordination between emerging markets and developing countries,
and build high-quality partnerships
between emerging economies, so as to make "emerging economies
contributions" achieving global sustainable development, and provide
the world with "emerging economies
plans" and "emerging economies wisdom".
In order
to further explore the relationship between the establishment of high-quality
partnerships in emerging economies and global sustainable development and its impact
on China, especially the challenges and opportunities for high-quality
development in China, China Society of Emerging Economies, China International
Culture Exchange Centre, Guangdong University of Technology, Guangdong Emerging Economies
Society and other organizations will
jointly hold the "The 2022 Annual Meeting of China Society of Emerging
Economies and the 10th Emerging Economies Forum" in Guangzhou from
November 4th to 6th, 2022. The theme of this forum is "High-quality
Partnership and Global Sustainable Development". In order to enrich
the content of the forum and better carry out academic exchanges, the call for
papers is open to the public at home and abroad. The relevant matters are
hereby notified as follows:
Ⅰ Topic Scopes
This
forum mainly solicits papers on conference topics. The topics of papers include
but are not limited to:
Topic 1:
Poverty Alleviation in Emerging Economies and Poverty Governance in BRICS
Topic 2:
Low-carbon Economy of Emerging Economies and Green Development of The Belt and
Road
Topic 3:
Industrialization of Emerging Economies and BRICS Digital Economy Cooperation
Topic 4:
Infrastructure Construction in Emerging Economies and Facilities Connectivity
of BRI (the Belt and
Road Initiative) Countries
Topic 5:
Trade and Investment of Emerging Economies and Global Sustainable Development
Topic 6:
Agricultural Development in China and Rural Revitalization in the
Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area
Ⅱ Essay Requirements and Statements
1.Essay titles are to be determined by authors themselves according to the topic scopes
mentioned above.
2.Papers submitted must be original and unpublished.
3.Language: Chinese or English.
For format requirements, Chinese
papers please refer to The Journal of
World Economy or World Economics and
Politics, while English ones please refer to China and World Economy.

5. Time: Please send an electronic version
of completed papers to geescn@126.com before September 30th, 2022, with the
name of the document and the subject of the email as
"EEF2022+Organization+Author+Paper Title". The author's information
should be written on the home page separately. In addition, please attach the
author's resume (within 500 words) and a life photo separately for the
compilation of the forum manual.
6. Statement:
(1) Since 2017, China Academic
Journals (CD Edition) Electronic Publishing House has been given the
rights to copy, compile, distribute and disseminate the full text of The
Emerging Economies Forum Papers Collection digitally in CNKI and its other
series of database products in order to increase the citation rate of works and
the visibility of authors. Copyright royalties are paid in conjunction with
paper remuneration (symbolic payment), and CNKI will issue a certificate of
admission, which can be used as one of the important achievements of project conclusion,
professional title promotion, and graduation of Ph.D. and postgraduate
students.
The behavior of the author in
submitting the paper to this forum and agreeing to include the collection of
papers shall be deemed to agree to the above statement and accept papers that
are only read out at the meeting.
(2) The Papers Collection does not
charge any fees, including layout fees and review fees, nor entrust any
intermediary or personal agent to solicit or examine manuscripts in any name.
If any institution or individual steals the name of this forum for soliciting
contributions, charging fees and other illegal acts, please do not believe and
report to the forum organizing committee or law enforcement agencies.
Ⅲ Evaluation Method
According to the principle of "fairness, impartiality, quality and
superiority", the Selection Committee of the Forum will organize experts
on relevant fields to rank and make comments on all submissions anonymously
(graduate papers grouped separately). Top-ranking papers will be recommended to The Journal of World Economy, World Economics and Politics, International
Economic Review, Journal of International Trade, International
Trade, International Economics and Trade Research, Asia-pacific
Economic Review, South China Journal of Economics, Journal of
Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, China and World Economy, Global Journal of Emerging Market Economies and other forums support
journals to enter the review process with priority.The Organizing Committee of
the Forum will invite excellent authors to give speeches.
